- Uppercase PAN? abcde1234f will not cut it. Use capital letters.
- Correct date format? DDMMYYYY, not MMDDYYYY. 5th Jan 1990 = 05011990.
- No extra characters? Just PAN and DOB stuck together, nothing else.
- Read the email — Sometimes NSDL sends an encrypted password unique to that statement. The email will tell you.
